PRESENCE
(DAY 6 of 7) Wes Heine
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” - John 14:12 NIV
Think
Jesus makes an amazing promise in this scripture. He says that if we believe in Him, we’ll not only do the things He did, but even greater things. At first, that feels impossible. How could we ever do what Jesus did?
The answer is His presence. When Jesus went back to the Father, He sent the Holy Spirit to live in us. That means we don’t walk through life on our own. His presence is with us every moment of every day.
Think about that. The same Jesus who healed the sick, calmed storms, and brought hope to people is the same Jesus who lives inside of you. His Spirit isn’t just near you, He’s in you. That means when you show kindness, when you pray for someone, when you step out in faith, you’re not doing it by yourself. His power is working through you.
His presence turns ordinary moments into supernatural moments. A simple conversation, an encouraging word, or a small act of love can carry heaven’s impact because Jesus is with you.

Act
Today, take time to pause and remember: He is with me. Before you start your day, whisper, “Holy Spirit, guide me.” Look for small ways to bring His love wherever you are.
Ask yourself:
Ask yourself:
- Who can I encourage today?
- Where can I show love and kindness?
- What step of faith is God asking me to take?
- It doesn’t have to be big. Just be a willing heart, and His presence will do the rest.
Pray
Lord, thank you for leading and guiding me. Fill me with your presence, make every response, action and encounter I have a supernatural moment. Help me to recognize these moments and be sensitive to your spirit in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Worship
Spend some time worshiping the Lord.
