PEACE
(DAY 5 of 7) Caleb Frith
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” — Isaiah 26:3 NIV
Think
When my wife and I had our first baby, life shifted overnight. Suddenly the rhythm of our world felt unfamiliar. Many of our friends were still single and free to hang out late, but our nights were filled with feedings and exhaustion. We felt cut off, lonely, unsure where we belonged anymore. That season got dark; hopelessness crept in because it seemed like no one saw us.
Looking back, what steadied me wasn’t that circumstances changed right away, but that I started shifting my mind. Instead of replaying the thought “we’re alone,” I began reminding myself: God sees us. God provides community. God’s faithful. As my focus moved from isolation to Him, something in my heart settled. I didn’t have all the answers, but I had peace, the kind that comes only when you lean the weight of your thoughts on His promises.
Isaiah 26:3 reminds us that perfect peace isn’t produced by easier circumstances; it’s protected by where we fix our minds.

Act
When loneliness or fear tries to rise this week, pause and redirect your thoughts: God, I trust you with this season. Write Isaiah 26:3 somewhere visible like a phone background, mirror, notebook, and bring your mind back to His faithfulness whenever anxious thoughts start to spiral.
Pray
Jesus, thank you that you see me even when I feel alone. Help me fix my mind on you instead of fear or loneliness. Keep me in your perfect peace as I trust you with this season. Amen.
Worship
Spend some time worshiping the Lord.
Come back tomorrow for day 6!
